Postklub is happy to announce the start of the call for applications for its international artist-in-residence-program. The call for 2 residency fellowships of 2 months in duration runs from November 2023 to January 2024.
About Us:
Postklub Residency, in collaboration with The Culture Moves Europe residency initiative, has curated an innovative platform tailored for emerging artists. Our central mission is to enable these artists to cultivate their creativity, uncover new artistic horizons, and immerse themselves in experimentation. With this, we hope to contribute to a club music scene that's experimental and broadened by diverse artistic perspectives.
The open call is aimed particularly at artists who have passion for exploratory music, sound art, and visual/new media art.Through this engagement, artists have the opportunity to explore diverse sound art cultures, uncover unique source materials, and further develop their skills and artistic networks.
At POSTKLUB Residency, we offer artists a supportive artistic and technical environment that fosters concept development and experimentation within their artistic practices.This foundation, along with our network, gives artists an opportunity to experience diverse cultural soundscapes, suggesting deeper exploration and the possibility of expanding artistic horizons.
Located in the vibrant Neukölln neighbourhood of Berlin, known for its rich cultural scene and numerous music venues, our residency offers a unique blend of creative freedom and community engagement.

Selected artists will have access to a private living space and a fully-equipped music studio for mixing, recording, and producing—all within the same premises.

The Residency Experience:
Our residency program includes one-on-one mentorship, networking events, and a showcase at the end of your stay. Our host organizations provide moderation, feedback, and access to their extensive networks. The resulting work will be presented online or at host events in Berlin, giving you valuable exposure and also released on the Postklub label.
